O.K., so you know you need a web site. Once you have a great looking site, how are your customers going to find you?
The most obvious answer is, of course, you're going to tell them, print up your web address on business cards, etc. It's important, though, that your site can be found through the search engines, too.
Search engines are somewhat of a mystery, and there are no guaranteed placements. As a seasoned web designer, however, I will do everything I can to try to place you higher in the search engines. I accomplish this through strategic keywords (words your potential customers would type into a search engine if they were searching for your type of business), how I title each page within the web site, and finally through what is called "meta tags" (just some more code that helps out).
In addition to the "tricks" that I know, I can also refer you to a search engine optimization company that has helped my rankings tremendously. You can view their site at: www.aceback.com.
